Hello,
I'm dead chuffed that you've found your way to my poetry site. If you've come here from www.phillucas.com then you've probably already got quite a good idea about the bits and bobs that I get up to. If you've just stumbled across this site, then a very big and warm welcome to you.
I spend most of my time writing poetry. All sorts of poetry. Some of it’s light-hearted, some of it isn't, some of it’s short, some of it's not so short. I love poetry and, for as long as I can remember, writing and poetry are all I've ever really wanted to do. I'm tremendously lucky to be able to do what I love for a living, and I never take for granted the fact that any day of the week I can take myself off to look at big ships, wander around a zoo or just sit on a park bench and think about biscuits or stoats.
On this site you'll find information on all the poetry I write. You'll find poems from my published works, poems that haven't been published and a whole host of information about readings, events and all that sort of guff. You have my guarantee that if you want to bleed me of information, I'll pour that metaphorical blood out here first.
So, that's about it really. You can see the buttons on the left that link to all the different parts of this website. So why not grab yourself a cognac, sit back and have a good-old look around.
I raise my burning menthol cigarette to you,
